Published 2021 - Winner of the Audio Arcadia Short Story Competition

Published as one of the 7 winning Authors, this book is a compilation of some very awesome and very unique short stories. It's such a pleasure to be selected with so many talented writers.

The story of mine is titled "The Chair". It's one that holds a very special part of me, being one of the first stories for one of the very first furniture functional artworks I made. The chair in the story exists and was the first I ever salvaged and rescued from junk to treasure. While the story was thought of during the creation of the artwork, it was only committed to paper years later and now, it's memorialized as published as a winner by Audio Arcadia! I won't ever forget the chair and maybe if a reader enjoys the story, they too will remember it fondly <3

I hope this story both enticed and delighted you. It would be exciting to know that it encouraged others to refurbish furniture! Everyone should have one special chair after all 😉

Published 2016 - Finalist Winner of the Grieve Writing Competition

Published through the Hunters Writing Society, this is an Australian writing competition that is such a privilege to be chosen as a finalist in. My short story was published as part of the GRIEVE anthology for 2016 as an e-book available through the Hunters Writers Society Website. This yearly competition focuses on grief and bringing awareness to it in all its forms. Stories chosen by the Hunters Writing Society, look at all kinds of grief, sharing the pain of others because we aren't alone in our grief, no matter what kind it is.

My Story in this anthology is a little short and dark, but reality often is. It's actually became the core of one of my characters in a novel that is currently in progress, as it resonated deeply with me.

Published through SPOTLIGHT, an artsociety magazine. My artwork and short story are featured in an A4 feature spread, along with the artworks and biographies of many other talented artists.

The Artwork featured is Intertwined, a sketch rendered with HB Pencil on Paper.
