The Pride Fritillary Drop Studs.

Designed to be cute and delicate in appearance, these adorable little studs are designed from the lower butterfly wings of the critically endangered fritillary butterfly. This design is truer to the actual butterfly's wing markings as the canvas allows for the super thin delicate black markings to overlay the gorgeous pride flag colours blended into the wings. These are designed to be durable, but as they are handmade, please treat them with love and care.

Clean them with water. For a deep clean, use warm soapy water and patt dry with a towel.

18k Gold plating should be kept clean of moisturizers, creams, chemicals and perfumes so use the enclosed cleaning cloth to keep it tarnish free.

If you bend or crease them, press them in your hands until they warm up! The multiple varnishes and sealants make them malleable when slightly warmed (do not iron or overheat)

Avoid scratching them agaisnt abrasive or sharp surfaces and store them away from sunlight. Store them next to one another, not ontop of eachother. See the Blog for more Details.
These CanvasArt Wings are Handmade with Love from Water Resistant Cotton Canvas, making them an awesome Eco-Friendly purchase. Each wing uses Archival Inks that are hand sealed and varnished with a 3 coat protection regime, which means that with proper care and storage, they can last as long as a 100year old artwork!

After the sealing process, I glue the canvas together to fabric and carefully hand cut them into shape with scissors. The wings are then hand edged with a little paintbrush, sealed the 2nd and 3rd time, the holes are hand tooled into the canvas and finally the metal hardware is added.

Due to this handmade process, each product is unique and may have some minor differences from the image above.

Each butterfly wing is 27x25mm in size
The Original Design of these comes with classic 18k gold plated drop stud metal hardware, however I do offer the custom option of changing these over to either a Silver threads, Silver ClipOns, Gold Clip Ons, Gold Studs or earring hooks in Surgical Steel (SS) Gold, Silver or Rainbow for a small customization change fee depending on material costs.

I also offer the customization of turning your earrings into 2 pendants or Bracelets. (one from the left earing and one from the right earring) for you and a friend/partner/lover.
