Polyamory Pride Flag
The Polyamory flag represents those who engage in, desire or practice romantic and or sexual relationships with more than one partner at a time with all partners involved consentually informed of the situation. Consent and trust is a foundational cornerstone for those who identify as polyamorous, whether they are in open or deep committed non-monogamous relationships or a closed polyamorous group engaging in polyfidelity.
The practice of polyamory emphasizes the beautiful idea that with consent and trust, it is possible to experience fulfilling, meaningful, sustainable and deep relationships without exclusivity.
The term polyamory comes from two words put together. Poly comes from the word πολύς which is polus in Ancient Greek and means "many". It's from this ancient greek word that the pie symbol comes from in the flag design by Jim Evans who created the Polyamory Pride Flag in 1995. The rest of the word comes from Amor which is the latin word for love. The flag colours are representative of the community with blue for the openness and honesty of all parties within the relationships, red for the love and passion shared and black for the solidarity of those who must hide their poly self and relationships from the rest of the world. The pie symbol represents the infinite options of partners available for polyamorous people, however there are alternative versions of this flag when in 2017 the pie symbol was replaced with the infinity hearts symbol.

These CanvasArt Wings are Handmade with Love from Water Resistant Cotton Canvas, making them an awesome Eco-Friendly purchase. Each wing uses Archival Inks that are hand sealed and varnished with a 3 coat protection regime, which means that with proper care and storage, they can last as long as a 100year old artwork!
After the sealing process, I glue together 2 canvas peices and carefully hand cut them into shape with scissors. The wings are then hand edged with a little paintbrush, sealed the 2nd and 3rd time, the holes are hand tooled into the canvas and finally the metal hardware is added.
Due to this handmade process, each product is unique and may have some minor differences from the image above.
Each butterfly wing is 50x30mm in size
