This dress has a lot of stretch and no sleeves to worry about fitting my curvy upper arms into, so I size down to a Small in this skater dress.  

• This fabric is elastic and has stretch and is slightly larger in size. As a standard medium woman with a smaller than usual medium waist (but large backside) , the medium waist of this fits with a little room, so I take a size small so that it's a snugger fit as I prefer it tighter at the waist because it's a stretch fabric that flares out.
