About Tealight Cube Lanterns

Tealight cube lanterns are perfect compact home decor items used for some indoor tealight candle effects. Even the small cubes create beautiful lighting effects on your walls and surfaces when lit on a dark night. Perfect for creating some ambience, they are also very practical. Gone are the days of burning your hand when lighting your tealight candles, the handy hinged box door makes it very easy to light the candle and close the door to enclose the flame to keep it safe away from straying hands.

These adorable cube lanterns can be crafted in 2 different size options. (width x height). Without candles in them, the two tealight sizes are able to be stored with the small tealight cube inside the large lantern cube.

These Tealight Cube Lanterns are handmade with love from one of the following materials.

Matt or Gloss Acrylic. These are a classic cast acrylic that goes with any decor. It has a beautiful gothic feel to it and the matt black is more fingerprint resistant than the gloss.

FSC Sourced Australian Woods. These gorgeous woods come in a dark Jarrah or light Eucalyptus tone. Each and every wood lantern is hand sanded, varnished and finished. As these are made using real woods, each lantern has unique wood grains and natural wood characteristics.

Specialty Acrylics in Pearl, Shimmer or Transparent colors. These beautiful specialty acrylics are unique due to the metallic pearl pigments or transparent depths in each sheet. This means no metallic or pearl pattern will be identicle and each creation from them will be unique. Images of these can look different on screens due to the metallic nature being difficult to photograph accurately. Some pigments shine brighter under camera flashes or look overly muted without them.

Each Tealight Cube Lantern comes with a small tealight candle. These are easily replaceable with your own tealight candles sized standard 40mm or under.
These are equiped with real tealight candles measuring 40mm.

As with all indoor candles, common sense safety applies.

Never leave lit candles unattended

Keep open flames away from curtains or open windows

Do not light candles in windy zones or during fire restrictions

Do not touch the candle flame... it burns!

Do not eat the candle wax... it is not edible even if it smells delicious.

Do not light the candle through the tiny hole at the top of the box or light it and then drop it into the tiny hole in the box top. This lantern is designed for easy lighting by simply opening the hinge door to access the candle when lighting.

If you own more than one tealight cube lantern, stack them only for storage and never stack them when lighting all the candles. Lighting the candles in stacked boxes can result in fire as the lantern above will block the smoke hole for the lantern below. Stacking them during use is only allowed if the candles are replaced with LEDs as this removes the fire hazard.

Each tealight cube is constructed with 6mm of insulative material between the tealight candle and your furniture. This prevents the candles heat from damaging any surface beneath the lantern.
